Ethics on Research with Human Beings

  Original articles and case reports from studies conducted with human subjects must follow the ethical principles of research, according to the World Medical Association and the Declaration of Helsinki https://animalresearchtomorrow.org/en/basel-declaration. The studies must be approved by the Ethics Committee of the institution in which they were developed, and a copy of this document must be included in the manuscript submission. In the methods section of the manuscript, it is necessary to declare the approval, as well as that the informed consent of the participants of legal age or, in the case of minors or incapacitated subjects, that of their legal representatives. In addition, the privacy of the study participants' data must be preserved, which must be declared by the authors.
