Thematic Issues | Clinical and Health Psychology
Archives of Health Sciences invites the academic and scientific community to submit manuscripts for a thematic issue focused on Clinical and Health Psychology. We welcome original, unpublished studies, that offer updated knowledge and contributions to the progress of research and understanding in this area.

- Evidence-based clinical interventions and practice.
- Online psychotherapy: effectiveness, ethical challenges and clinical implications.
- Psychological assessment in Clinical and Health Psychology.
- Mental health and public health: prevention and community interventions.
- Mental health and coping strategies.
- Health psychology and chronic diseases: psychologist's role in multi / interdisciplinary healthcare teams; psychological interventions in patients with cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular diseases, etc.; adherence to treatment and health promotion; chronic pain: psychological assessment and management; psycho-oncology, psychoneuroimmunology and psychocardiology.
- Life cycle and specific populations: mental health in childhood and adolescence: assessment and interventions; psychology of women's health: perinatality, menopause, obstetric violence; Psychology of aging: emotional challenges, care and autonomy.

Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts must be submitted by October 20, 2025 (20/10/2025 - 23h59, Brasília time) through the Archives of Health Sciences website, New Submission.
Guidelines for authors, including formatting standards, article structure and evaluation criteria: Information for Authors.
- Papers must be submitted in English.
- References must be up to date (Up to a maximum of 50% of references published before the last five years).
- Authors should follow the submission guidelines on the journal's website.
Evaluation Process
All papers go through a double-blind peer review process, guaranteeing impartiality and academic quality. Authors will be informed of the editorial decision within a maximum period of 30 days.
